Matt Hart - Global Ideas Guy
Matt Hart - creator of Accelerated Innovation - is a 6ft 2ish, straight-talking, t-shirt & jeans-wearing, business/social/environmentally responsible, surfing, laid back, coffee-loving, naturally curious kiwi with 15+ years bringing new and innovative products & cultures to life.
Accelerated Innovation is the formal nomenclature for 'Better Ideas. Faster'. Not many truly understand what either of those really means - not enough anyway.
Therein lies a problem - and the possibilities of a solution.
Working out of London with clients including Unilever, BBC Radio 1, Sony Music, MTV and O2, Matt pioneered a 'Better, Faster' approach for real innovation. This was built around the simple proposition of ‘do the first right thing - then do the next right thing on purpose’. The building blocks of this approach included smart ideation, increasing creative smarts in people and aligning organisation culture around a singleness of purpose. These 3 platforms of innovation - Ideas, People and Culture - coalesce into the smarts of Accelerated Innovation:
After years of global innovation consulting, Matt’s refreshed purpose is to articulate and provide the 'Better, Faster' smarts for anyone who wants them.
Knowing something of people and their beliefs or not in the power of creativity and innovation, Matt is working to make 'Better, Faster' the go to approach for those who really want innovation know-how gleaned from the global coal face ...
those with real want for it
the passion to apply it
and the will to do it
Walking his own talk, Matt hasn’t worked everything out. There’s still lots of room for true co-creation and collaboration around helping the world have the smarts of Better, Faster innovation. With that in mind, this is the first right thing i.e. put this out there, and trust that in doing so the next right thing to do will become apparent.
In the meantime, Matt & team are busy crafting the tools & resources that will become a complete product portfolio for 'Better Ideas. Faster'
And naturally, continuing to help selected clients apply these smarts to their problems that need new solutions. Problems that matter. Problems that require real innovation.
