IndustryApproved. Know. Create. Make.
Machines can simulate your knowledge. They cannot simulate you.
There’s something in you no AI can replicate. Your challenge is finding what that is. IndustryApproved is how you find it, own it, and become it.
Wherever
you're crossing.
There is no single transition into adult life anymore. There are many. IndustryApproved is the bridge.
School to work, or to uni.
The first leap out. Become approved for whatever that is.
Uni to work.
Degree in hand. Author the next move yourself.
Any to next.
Whatever in-between you're in. Whatever comes after. The bridge holds.
Matt Hart has spent a career developing people to have 'something about them’ and use it to their advantage in work and life.
The IndustryApproved methodology is grounded in doctoral-level research and twenty-five years of practice building fandoms, brands, and the people inside them. American Idol. BBC. Cisco. Spotify. Sony Music. Unilever. UNICEF. Warner Music.
This is not a course run by a marketer. It is built and delivered by a practitioner. IndustryApproved is what the practice was always doing, finally authored under its own name, for the generation that needs it most.
Matt Hart. Founder. Practitioner. Doctoral researcher.
The Experience
AI raised the floor. The degree, the trade, the schooling, the years of preparation. They still matter. But what they once uniquely certified is now shared with machines.
Employers are not short of competence. They are short of talent who have something about them. The curiosity to ask questions a machine wouldn't. The empathy to read a room. The taste and judgement to know which option is right. The creative confidence to back their own thinking.
That is not charisma you're born with or not. It is a developable capability.
IndustryApproved takes you through 3 phases: how you understand yourself, how you put that into the world, and how you earn a place in an industry that values it.
Know
Walk out with the answer to "tell me about yourself" that no one else has. No model can generate it. It's actually you.
What you'll do: The Tension of Opposites. A guided story experience that takes the contradictions in you (the parts you've been told to pick between) and turns them into the source of your edge. You leave with a story of yourself you can use anywhere. Applications, interviews, your bio, the way you introduce yourself in a room.
You leave with: your story, in your words.
Create
Make one thing that's actually yours, start to finish. A track, project, piece, product, brief, film, pitch. Something you can point to.
What you'll do: 101 Creativity + Innovation. Practical knowledge drops, one at a time. See, hear, read, do. Built on how curiosity, empathy, taste and judgement actually work, and how to use them. Brief it. Build it. Ship it.
You leave with: the thing you made. Not a certificate. The thing.
Make
Get your thing in front of real people. Find the ones who get it. The old way started with applications. The new way starts with being known by the right hundred people.
What you'll do: Run the Fandom Playbook. Pitch, post, test, refine. Real audiences. Real feedback. You stop guessing what you should do and start seeing it in how people respond.
You leave with: your first audience, and the data on where you fit.
Two ways in.
Same becoming.
Step in where it pulls you. Step up when you're ready.
6-12 weeks
The Sprint
Daily drops. Something to watch, listen to, read and do. Weekly mentor sessions. Agentic support. And a practitioner who's done their own becoming. Small cohorts. People on the same path, different destinations. This is coaching, not courseware.
A year of becoming
The Slow Path
Subscription. The price of a coffee a week. Daily drops at your pace. AI coaching between sessions. Cohort touchpoints so you're not doing it alone. A year. Real authorship compounds slowly. You set the pace. The programme holds the shape.
The paths interlock. Subscribers step up into a Sprint cohort when they are ready. Sprint graduates step back onto the Slow Path as Tuakana for the next wave. Tuakana Teina is the Māori concept of relational mentoring. Each one teach one. Each cohort makes the next stronger. The flywheel is the design.
Most people start with the year-long path.
You don't have to decide now. Tell us about you when you apply & we'll guide you to the path that fits.

That's literally who this is built for.
If you had it figured out, you wouldn't need this. Know → Create → Make is how you work it out by doing. Your path shows up in the response, not in a pros-and-cons list.
Matt didn't know either. Forest ranger to global innovator. The path got built in motion.
-
No. The current crew includes a musician and someone choosing between a degree and pro basketball. What you share is the pull to make something — and the sense the standard path isn't enough.
Track, startup, piece of writing, brand, channel, sports career, something you can't name yet — the toolkit applies. If you feel the fire, the door's open.
-
Matt reviews every application himself.
It's not about grades, CVs, or polish. It's about honesty — the part of you ready to do the work. If it's not a yes, you'll hear why, and you can reapply.
Everyone gets a second shot.

That's actually the price. $4.99/week. About £3.50, €4, ¥6, NZD$7. One subscription. Everything's in. No tiers, no upsells, no inner circle.
Cancel anytime. Gate stays open if you come back.
Corporates pay $10k–$20k per person for the same toolkit. Coffee money is the point.

Your story — the answer to "tell me about yourself" no one else has.
A thing you made — start to finish. Yours.
Your first audience — real people who get it, and signal on where you fit.
A crew — the community keeps going after the program does.
No badge. No certificate. The work, the proof, the people.

Those who want to stay involved and become IA mentors (Tuakana Teina for newbies) get to take our BIF People Program proven with global leaders for free - so the becoming continues. To learn more on the BIF People Program please go here.
Not Gen Z?
Three other ways IndustryApproved shows up in the world.
For Organisations
University, school, or business partnership.
A measurable people-development programme that builds what AI cannot replicate. BIF People free for mentors. Tuakana Teina embedded with cultural authority. Built to flex at six, nine, or twelve weeks.
For Investors
The talent unlock for seed-stage capital.
Back a team. We develop them. Back a venture, we pair in people who've been through the programme. A developmental layer that turns early bets into compounding outcomes.
For Parents
Why this is the work that matters now.
The conversation no one is having loudly enough. What is happening to your child's generation, why the degree alone will not carry them, and what they actually need from you to become irreplaceable.
